Yiqian Shu (Ee-chen Shoe) was born in Shanghai, China, in 1941. Today, he lives in Oregon, where the lush valleys and verdant forests remind him of his native homeland. He is signature member of National Acrylic Painter’s Association, U.S., and U.K. His art has appeared in books and magazines and is included in the collections of prestigious museums as well as private and corporate collectors. He was awarded the silver prize in The World Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition in Beijing, China. And he was named honorary Oregon Treasure and invited to exhibit his work at the Governor’s Mansion by the Oregon state art committee. His work has been published by Mill Pond Press.
