While strolling down the Victoria Embankment with my wife, we noticed the Palace of Westminster in the distance. It is incredibly difficult not to embrace the gorgeous sight of this palace. The Palace of Westminster was previously the home of the kings of England and now it is home to the houses of the Parliament.

To our left, the view of the great River Thames stretches across the breadth of London. As the sun begins to burst through the foggy embankment, I can spot Big Ben, the iconic clock tower of London. As I gaze in wonder at the gigantic structure peeking through the fog, I cannot imagine a more majestic and inspiring sight. As we board a double decker bus heading across the River Thames and into the heart of London, we can hear the clock tower chiming in the background. What a magnificent afternoon. - RF
