I rarely shoot animals in captivity, but these baboons at London’s zoo fascinated me. I took this shot and filed it away for years.
In the 1990’s, I had gastro-intestinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. My surgeon, Ian Lavery removed 16 inches of my colon...electively.
I gave him a large photo of this image and signed it as follows:
