The snow leopard’s very light, beautiful, spotted fur and wonderful thick tail put it on the endangered species list. Hunted or poached for its fur (one coat requires sever cat skins), its destiny may be extinction in the near future. But there is hope. The vast habitat makes it very difficult to estimate how many are actually left. - CB
