For over 40 years, Edna Hibel has been referred to as America's best loved and most versatile artist, best colorist and a genius in the creation of hand-drawn, multi-stone lithographs. She was commissioned by the Foundation of the U.S. National Archives in 1995 to commemorate 75 years of women receiving the universal right to vote. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious museums and galleries on four continents. She has been honored by His Eminence Pope John Paul II, the late Belgian King Baudouin, Queen Elizabeth and the late Prince and Princess of Monaco. She has received six honorary doctorate degrees. In 2007, Edna personally opened an exhibit of her works at Gallery One.
