
Beginning in the early 1800’s, there was a succession of mills built in Painesville along the Grand River, visible from the Main Street bridge. The last of these historic buildings was the Abbott’s Mill which burned in the summer of 1959 as I watched and shed a few tears.
I created the giclée reproduction of the mill from a small historic photo. - AB
