We all know one, many of us have one at home, some of us married one-you might even be one. We're talking pack rat, the ubiquitous, compulsive and obsessive hunter/gatherer/saver of everything useless and space-consuming. Most collect eclecticallym but the real-life pack rate(proper name:wood rat) specializes in shiny objects, with which he decorates his digs in what might be called Pack Rat Tacky. Anthropomorphism is alive and well and will flourish as long as we have pack rats. - CH
