The subtitle is
lengthy and still doesn't begin to say it all - "Early morning walk
on a sandy beach path on a rare day in June." "The south
shore of Lake Superior is designed for painters. The shapes are all there,
large masses and myriads of small details - leaning trees and fallen logs,
banks hanging with mosses and roots, beach grass, driftwood, boulders,
rocks and pebbles, all arranging themselves on the beach. Add the wild
roses of early summer, when the mists are rising and the sun is just
beginning to reach in to the dense woods and to gleam on the water... it
